I am a systems engineer with 30 years' experience in the I.T. industry. I am based near Sheffield in England and I am currently working for DXC on the deployment of standardised monitoring and automation solutions for DXC's customers. My engineering experience dates back to the early days of digital communications when I was an engineer working for Plessey and involved in the rollout of the UK's first digital telephone exchanges. I have since worked on a wide range of computer technologies including mission critical Unix systems, SAN data storage systems, and public and private cloud solutions.
